Makeup Artist Tips And Tricks

Did you ever have to wipe your whole face clean after a smudge or accidental smear? Here are some tips i have picked up along the way!

Liquid Eyeliner is clean and flawless but sometimes tricky. To fix any mistakes, use a Q-tip dipped in a non-greasy eye makeup remover or if you don't have any use olive oil. then you can use another Q-tip, use the colors you applied to your lid to fix any holes in your eye shadow. I use the M.A.C. super slick liquid liner on my clients. For the "Beauty Broke" ladies I suggest L'oriel Lineur Intense Felt Tip Liquid liner, Palladio Eye Ink for only $6.49 or the Elf Precision Liquid Eyeliner  for only $3.00!

Eyebrows frame a woman’s face and accentuate her bone structure. To get the perfect brow every time, lift your brow with your pointer finger up as high as you can get it and follow your brow with brow powder. You will get an arch to die for!

Always use Primer Under your eye shadow!! I love the Urban decay Primer potion. If your budget is low or you are one of the "Beauty Broke" The Elf Primer or Palladio Herbal Eye Shadow Primer may be the way to go!

Keep shadow from falling onto your cheeks by applying a translucent loose powder heavily under each eye. After application sweep excess powder away and all the fallout with it!

Have a hard time keeping color on your lips? Try the body shop lip stain! I love this product, it has great staying power! Apply a little gloss to the lower lip only (gloss will naturally transfer)and re-apply gloss as needed.

Always set your liquid foundation with powder. I like mineral powders the best.
