BB Cream. What do they do and How do they measure up?

I noticed the new trend called "BB Cream" and I decided to try it. I was hoping for a quick, non-greasy and soft look I can slap on and go. Unfortunately it was not really that way for me. There are many BB Creams out there. I have tried the Drug store Brands and some of the higher end. Here are the ones I have tried so far:

THE BB CLAIMS:
1. It blurs imperfections

2. Enhances your face

3. Brightens your face

4. Adjusts to your skin-tone

5. Smooths your face

 6. Hydrates dry skin

 7. Has SPF 30 (Sunscreen)

 8. Has 0% oils and other heavy ingredients

My Experience with these Creams so far:

Rimmel BB: Heavy and Didn't help my oily areas as I was hoping. Overall Ok.

Garnier BB cream: I really liked how it looked on my skin, it went on smooth and look super dewy. The downfall is it made me break out BAD! Wished my skin liked it.

Maybelline BB cream: Super greasy in my semi-oily skin! No coverage at all.

L’Oreal Magic Skin Beautifier: real greasy and the lightest shade made me look orange.

Revlon’s BB cream: Its Thick and almost sits on the top of the skin, and will not blend well.

Physitians formula BB: I feel Its the best from a drug store! Its light and goes on even with great coverage. I have never had a breakout from it. (this is the first one I have tried and I am going back for sure!)

Urban Decay BB: Comes out of the tube orange, goes on the skin without doing practically anything. I would stick to just applying spf. under there primers. (I love everything else they make!)

MAC BB Cream: Very heavy and sticky. To much for me, I have pretty good skin though.(never really liked any of there foundations for the same reason.)This product would be good for someone who needs a full coverage.

I was told to try Dior Hydra Life, Smashbox, Missha and Skin79. I will let you know If I decide to do so. Thanks for reading!

Have you tried any of the BB Creams? If so  Please Comment and let me know how they worked out for you!

  1. So far AVON BB cream works best for me
I thought Maybelline will be good, but its waay to runny and hard to work with, plus it makes patches when my skins absorbs it... Not so good.
I want to try the Body Shop BB Cream though... I hope its good :)
